Alejandra Rodríguez Fernández

Alejandra Rodríguez Fernández is a Marine Biologist from the Catholic University of the Most Holy Conception (Chile), Master in Applied Statistics from the University of Concepción (Chile) and Master in Public Health from the University of Bío-Bío (Chile). She is a researcher and a lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Public Health of the Faculty of Health and Food Sciences of the University of Bío-Bío (Chile). She is the Director of the research group on auxology, bioanthropology and ontogeny (GABO). She is the author of more than 50 articles (ISI/WOS, Scielo) and she has peer reviewed for national and international journals. She is currently developing her doctoral research on immigrant women in Chile and their nutritional conditions with respect to eating habits, minimum dietary diversity (mdd-w) and food insecurity.
