Óscar Navarrete Aliaga

Óscar Navarrete Aliaga holds a MSc in Pharmacologycal and Applied Chemistry from Jaume I University (Spain). He graduated in Chemistry from Jaume I University, and worked as laboratory technician in the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE). He was a beneficiary of two research grants in Jaume I University throughout the course of his degree studies, as well as Juan Murga research grant to carry out his Master’s Thesis. His doctoral research focuses on evaluating the association between exposure to air pollution and inflammation and oxidative stress responses using acellular and cellular models and population studies. He has expertise on collecting aerosol samples and conducting biochemical analysis to study the effects of environmental pollutants on public health related with chemical composition and oxidative potential of aerosols.
