Dr. Manuela Barneo-Muñoz
Dr Manuela Barneo-Muñoz (UJI) (ORCID: 0000-0003-4662-2887) is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Functional Neuroanatomy laboratory of the Jaume I University. She has extensive experience in the handling of molecular techniques (purification and extraction of DNA and RNA from human cell lines, animal tissue and yeasts; in addition to standard PCR, semi-quantitative PCR and RT-qPCR). She obtained her BSc in Biology and her MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics in the University of Valencia. She completed her doctorate studies in Biomedicine and Biotechnology PhD degree at the "Instituto Valenciano de Biomedicina" (IBV-CSIC, València), the "Centro Investigación Principe Felipe" (CIPF, València) and the Babraham Institute (Cambridge, United Kingdom). She has also worked at The Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Agrarias (IVIA, Generalitat Valenciana), Biochemistry Genetics and Biotechnology laboratory in the Department of Genetics (Universitat de València), and the Functional Genomics of Yeasts laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry (Universitat de Valencia).
